- Lead and mentor a team of purchasing and claims professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
- Provide regular reports on purchasing and claims activities to upper management
- Conduct periodic reviews of purchasing and claims processes to identify areas for improvement
- Negotiate and resolve disputes with suppliers and customers as needed
Purchasing and Claims Supervisor Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with procurement software and claims management systems.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to purchasing and claims.
- Certification in purchasing or supply chain management (e.g., C.P.M., CPSM).
- Experience in a supervisory role in procurement or claims management.
- Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing and claims management
