We are seeking a motivated and experienced Central Supply Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the supply chain, the Central Supply Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the central supply department to ensure efficient and effective inventory management. Central Supply Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee and manage the central supply department, including but not limited to: ordering, receiving, storing, distributing, and tracking medical and surgical supplies.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory records, including stock levels, par levels, and order history.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of department personnel, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize inventory management and control.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure adequate supplies are available as needed.
- Maintain inventory control systems and processes to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and delivery terms.
Central Supply Supervisor Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in a healthcare supply chain management role
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, logistics, or a related field
- Certification in supply chain management or inventory control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and tools
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
